Bijlsma Projecten has been a specialist in lifting and hoisting issues for over 35 years. We have mechanical and electrical engineers, including production in-house. With each project, we immerse ourselves in the situation of our customers. So that we can always deliver smart, efficient and sustainable added value. However, our team of mechanical engineers is still missing a colleague who is indispensable for realising our ambitions.

We are looking for aMechanical Engineer M/F:Mechanical Engineer M/F for 38 hours a week

As a mechanical engineer, you will join the Bijlsma team responsible for designing our lifting equipment. These vary from small but impressive tooling to large complex lifting installations, such as portal cranes. You design these in Inventor. We know better than anyone that this material can sometimes be a real headache, but fortunately you can always ask your colleagues questions. The designs regularly result in changes that need to be adjusted, which is no problem for you. By thinking along with the customer, you will achieve an optimal result together.

About you in the role of Mechanical Engineer
In recent years, you have gained experience in the machine building industry as a mechanical engineer. You have an analytical mind and can perform under time pressure without losing sight of the goal. You realise better than anyone that speed and efficiency contribute to our ambitions. Within the team, you are a reliable player who can manage expectations of your design well. You do this by proactively consulting with the sales department, purchasing department and, of course, the client on a regular basis. Collaborating, listening and asking questions come naturally to you. You are able to take decisions and to substantiate them well.

You already have this as a Mechanical Engineer:

• HBO level Mechanical Engineering;
• Several years of experience in the function of engineer
• Experience with 3D drawing package, preferably Inventor, and making production drawings;
• Knowledge of the Machinery Directive and experience with standards;
• You want to develop, you don't shy away from innovation in your work and in technology. What's more, you like to contribute ideas.
